Center ball does not always mean center ball, if that makes sense.
Looking at the cue ball from 6:00 to 12:00. Look at it as a ladder system.The 8 rung system works pretty well .
Using the rungs of a ladder you move up and down the cue ball as required for the task at hand.
For me, if I try to find center(which is rarely) on any rung I drop my cue on the cloth, aligning and aiming low on the cue ball even though I may hit up at any rung I need.
I aim like this on every shot, does not matter as to anywhere on the clock I have to hit,any english. an eyelash of left or full extreme.
I can't stand that 1/4..1/2...3/4...full tip analogy...they can keep it.
