I heard somewhere in the dark corner of a smokey pool hall that there exists such a product, capable of rejuvinating the original soft silky glide of that beautiful thing we spend many hours of our time with our hands on.

No, not your wife!

Does anyone know if it exists, and if so where can I get some?

Nothing works better than

I think it's caled NEW CLOTH.:D Champion Tour Edition

our way to speed cloth

Might sound a bit odd to all , but try this.
We clean our tables in our pool room with this method-
vaccuum your tables really good
wipe down with a slightly damp terrycloth towel working and wiping the felt towards the brek , then back the other way toward the headrail. Use only a damp cloth , not a ringing wet one.
Let air dry
Then go out to your local store and buy you some pledge , yeh thats right , pleadge.
Use a new dry towel and mist the pledge over the felt holding it about 15 inches above the felt. If you mist 1/2 the table at a time , it will not leave wet marks or spots. But if you do it is ok , it will dry.
Then use the new dry towel and wipe off , rubbing in the pledge from side to side.
Let dry and really speeds up old felt and makes it look good.

cleaner cloth

We wipe down our tables every week. It is surprising what a damp cloth will take up....but, vacumning daily would be the best -- maybe I should remember that

Thanks guys... I had a feeling the old damp cloth trick and the polish trick would come out in this post... I have used similar methods myself on various cloths... all work quite well.. was just wondering if there was an industry accepted standard method.. but it seems it's back to the usual voodoo methods .. tried and tested... thanks again.
