Cloth damage at pocket opening, edge of slate.

Hard Knock Cues

I have a guy at league who purchased a used table from a local dealer. I'm never impressed when I redo tables that have been set up by these guys. I often find loose or missing bolts and just crappy work done fast and dirty.

Anyway the cloth (Simonis 860)at the slate edge in the pocket is starting to wear after 13 months of home use.

My first thought was they didn't glue a strip of cloth to the slate edge before covering. When I questioned that he said they did not.
There's other issues with the table like the pockets tilt down and the ball sometimes hops back onto the table,so he has to lift the pocket up once in awhile (loose bolts). Slate seems are showing as well. I didn't think the table brand mattered but it's an Olhausen
I'll be redoing the table for him in the near future and correcting any hack work. I just wanted some input on the cloth wear at the pocket to confirm my analysis or not.

Thanks
