Does any of the makers here use the Gorton P1-2 pantograph? If so have you seen one of these conversion kits made by Famco to convert it to cnc. I am looking for opinions on possibly going this route. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I have a blud built cnc

Hello.
I have a cnc built on a gorton pantograph. I got it last year from bludworth. I am extremely happy with it. I started out with a machine built buy another guy but it dosen't even come close to blud's machine. I shopped around for various cue cnc machines and none of the other ones I looked at seemed to be able to hold as tight tolerances and be repeatable. I can cut inlays that fit so tight you don't even need glue to hold them in ( i do use glue though, just making the point)they will just slide in and you cant see a line around them. They fit perfect. If you would like to see the machine let me know and I will email you some pics. Chris Byrne. CB CUSTOM CUES.

pictures

Ok says file is too large. How do I get pics on here?

PS I tried sending email w pics to everyone who wrote me 2 of them were returned due to address problems.

Hi Chris,
In the "Reply to Thread" page, scroll down past the icons and the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons. You will see "Additional Options" where you will find in the "Attach Files" box the "Manage Attachments" button. Click on that then just follow directions. Click "Browse", select your file then "upload" and finally "done" buttons.

Tip: Decrease the size of your image in Photoshop by changing "image size", having the length or width at 6 inches is a comfortable viewing size, then "save for web". Choose "jpeg" and adjust quality to below 10k by using the slider, 20 in a scale of 100 is good. Remember to stay below 10k which is indicated at the bottom left of your image.

Hope this helps.
Edwin Reyes< or send the photo to me at edreyescues1986@yahoo.com and I'll take care of uploading it for you.

I use Abobe Imageready software to edit the photos I use here.
It allows me to adjust the quality and set the file size to under 100K.
I think the MAX is 100K for any photo posted here.
I like a big photo so the detail can be seen.
But that dont mean the file size needs to be big.

I'm sorry for the delay but they didn't have a photo editing program from where I just came back from.

I'm back so here they are.

Hopefully I didn't crop off something that was important.

And the next one which was also cropped. Just tell me if I cropped off something that I shouldn't have.

Now, don't mind the messages that I wrote with the pics because the message board just wants me to type in not less than 10 words to be able to post. Are these ok enough Chris?
