Curious about what I found on this. Was this factory or previous repair?
The black joint collar is broken and is stained redish. Figured I would just replace it with phenolic.
After I started to cut it down there was a Cocobolo sleeve under a black/red coating. A phenolic core was under that.
I’ll be putting a new Cocobolo sleeve on it and not covering it with black??
