I'm interpreting the OP's request two different ways.
Are you referring to the joint-pin that connects the shaft
or are you referring to a wght-bolt, which is at the butt of the cue?
I'm not even sure a Cog has a wght-bolt.
I've never heard of either being referred to as a wght-pin.
Mr Gold's G-10 jnt-pin is his default pin. Change it and the cue is no longer a Cog.
I think that if you could tell us where this 'wght-pin' is located, we could provide better advice.
I have a Cognoscenti and it doesn't have a weight bolt. I've never seen one with a weight bolt. But then again I have one the very few with a Titanium joint pin and not a G-10! My pin has Cognoscenti engraved in the end of it.
