Hey I was just wondering if anybody hear has heard anything about Colorado custom cues. I have been looking at their website and they have some pretty decent cues and designs. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used them or at least know how they play. Thanks

I tried to contact Colorado Cues about 2 months ago. I saw their website and thought the same things as you, nice designs at a reasonable price. I emialed them through the website...no response. I called the number on the website and got an answering machine. I left a messeage that I was very interested in purchasing one of their cues...no response. I gave up and bought a Keith Josey cue. I paid more for the Josey, but Keith and Sherri are great people, and I got a great cue. Now I'm glad that I did not get a response from Colorado Cues.
Not sure if your asking about Colorado Cues because of the one on Ebay right now, but that is a very nice looking cue.

Dan Breggin who owns colorado cues, is not answering phone calls and or e-mails.
I have no idea what's wrong. I have a close friend who lives near Dan, and Dan's not returning calls or e-mail. My friend talked with Dan's father, and he can't figure it out either.
I taught Dan how to build cues. i also sold him machinery for his business. He builds a nice cue, but dosen't do any good if he won't answer his mail or phone.

Colorado Cues....Dan Breggin stole $700.00 from me. I ordered a cue last November 2002 and spoke to Dan Breggin on the phone. Well I picked my cue and paid for the cue in advance and now Dan Breggin is no longer found. He shafted me !!! Since I have learned that he has stopped making cues. Beware of Colorado Cues......
Do a search at this forum for Colorado Cues or Dan Breggin. You'll find the he's pulling a scam and locally, here in Denver, I heard that he's really gotten into drugs.
A couple of months ago I telephoned him (I live nearby) and when I questioned him about his business his voice shook very precariously.

Dan Breggin is not the type to do DRUGS. I have known him for about 7 or 8 years. We have spent many hours, days and traveled many a mile together, no drugs were done around me by him.
I surly hope this drug thing is nothing but a rumor.
Kokopuffs, are you sure of your information about Dan and drugs is correct????Did it come from a reliable sorce?
I would hate to see anyone's reputation ruined by rumors.

Very reliable info as of a couple of years ago. As I mentioned, his voice really trembled when I inquired as to his cuemaking business. And according to some other forum member, Dan seems quite unresponsive to that member who already sent him money to have a custom cue made.

Not answering the phone is the biggest clue as to what's going on. When I quit my sole proprietorship, I responded to my previous customers offering information as to where they could shift their business. I continued this practice for the year following. To abandon one's business and customers is a no no.

Here's the previous thread started by JJ when he didn't get his cue.
Someone put an APB on him at CCB a few months back too which I don't know if it was JJ too.
If he's not answering his phone and e-mail, what else can one think the cause is?

It's nuts but i had a friend Also try to call him. He got no one .e-mails all that .And still nothing.i guess he not make Q's no more. O well there is still more cue makers out there that will be glad to get your money...And make u a nice que...

Please contact the U.S. Postal Inspector's Office, the law enforcement arm of the post office. A federal offense has been committed and he'll get his due oats; that office will work for you. I HATE RIPOFFS and wished that this country used arab-style punishment on them.
