Comments please....

Danny stout makes a nice cue. If the cue is straight and sound pick it up if you can get it under $500 IMO. It should play good either way with pred shaft..

Danny Stout cues are very nice cues for the money. If you are the winning bidder I'd also ask about the original shaft as well. Thats JHO.

Thanks, Mark

Yes, I submitted questions to the seller regarding weight of cue, size of tip, type of joint pin, and original shaft. Haven't heard anything yet. I figured that the Predator shaft, if in good condition, is worth about $90-$100 and the Stout butt looks like it should be worth at least $250. So if you could get the auction for $200 or less it seemed like a good deal.

Id say if you can get it for around $275 or less would prolly be a steal on that cue. Depending on how old the cue is and all, the seller does say its like new. Thats just my opinion tho.

Thanks for your input. It looks like the cue will go for about $200.

He did respond to several of my questions. He said the original shaft was stolen at the DCC three years ago. Said the weight was 19.5 and that it used a 5/16 by 14 or 5/16 by 18 pin. Sounded like a legit guy. He said he would have been pricing the cue around $500 had it been new. I never asked him about the reserve price.
