Does anyone know if Brunswick makes tables that are not slate? The reason I?m asking is because I went to a fairly new pool room last night that had these 8 ft Brunswick tables that look like Medalist tables. But, it seemed like the bed was not slate. They had this wooden hollow like sound and they just seemed like they were not solid. I looked under them and I could see particleboard on the bottom side. Also, even though the pockets were buckets, the corners did not except the balls well at all. I have had the Department store version of Brunswick, and these tables are not like those. They have the look of real commercial tables. Has anyone ever seen something like this?
