Definitely was a great tournament. Appreciate everyone involved in making this thing happen.
Efren played great the whole tournament was a great one to watch. Congrats to Josh and Busty as well they played great too.
The commentary was fantastic Scott and Nick were very Good. At one point Josh joined in and that was a great change of pace he seemed to look at the table different than the other commentators

Oh man what a great coverage! Loved it. Sure wish i could get a signed poster of that event by all the players. Nobody responds to the ? When ask ray or the hall!

The differences between the 1 Pocket site and this one are amazing. Over there the general consensus last night was that given the outlandishness of some of Bustamante's shot attempts they had obviously agreed to split the 1st & 2nd place money. Over here everybody so far seems to think that a 60 year old Efren beat a 50 year old Bustamante (twice) on the square.

I thought Busty won the first set of the finals over Efren last night, is that wrong ?

So you're saying busty dumped? Who knows if they agreed to split. Certainly not you. I don't post much but nearly every time something comes out of your mouth it's hating on something. jus sayin.

I may have misunderstood. From the chart posted here I'd say you are correct, Efren was on the winners side so Busty would have to beat him twice. If Busty won last night that set up the final match today.

Either way, most over there think it was a 1st and 2nd place split as they are friends.

I don't think these players dump. They fight to the death always. Besides Reyes is not afraid of Django. Django said one time said to Efren,"I played good", Efren replied " you play shit".

not true efren won the hotseat so busti had to beat efren twice busti beat efren last night so they played the 2nd set today
if they were chopping i think efren would have won last night right
they had different backers and the calcutta money so i hope they both played to win for the backers sake and for the integrity of the event and sponsors
what they do with the money after the event is their own business

By the way, if Busty did beat Efren last night to make it a one set finals it makes even more sense that Busty might let Efren win and split the 1st & 2nd place money. Why not let the old guy have another title? It means nothing to Busty.

I did not say either guy dumped or split, I said the guys over on the 1Pocket site seem to think so. I didn't realize I had to live up to your standards.

Does that say there was a $25,000 first place payout? For an 8-man one-pocket tournament?

I acknowledged my error several posts ago. I misunderstood that Busty won last night, setting up a 1 set Finals.
