Considering re-doing table?

I have an 8' olhousen table at home with large pockets, think there 5", and slow nap felt. I would like to put new rails on it so that the pockets are tighter and new felt. I am leaning towards velocity felt because it is at the pool hall i play in, i don't have much money and it's cheaper than simonis, and I have liked playing on it. I also live in a remote area in south western AR outside of Arkadelphia. I have several questions.
1. Will buying the felt in 8' here be enough to cover the table and rails?

2. What kind of rails do I need, and where can I get them?
3. Who can I get to install it?
4. About how much would all of this cost?
Any answers to these questions would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

you should try to post this in the ask a mechanic section. there is a sticky post with mechanics in your area also. If you have an oversized 8' I think they sell felt for that. Price could be anywhere from $200 to $500

Apolcalypse is right. Post a thread in the mechanic forum. Find a mechanic first. Sometimes they can get a better deal for you on the felt.
