Ok, there's been millions of posts about aiming. Here is how I aim sometimes. Although I have a few other ways I aim. Works very well. Takes a little bit to get used to it.

You find the contact point on the object ball(A). Find the spot on the cueball that will hit that point(B). It is the exact opposite of the point on the object ball when looking from behind the cueball.
The most important part of this is to aim using the contact points. Keep the cue center ball. You are not aiming with the cue whatsoever. So if you aim with your right eye then line up your right eye behind the two contact points. Same with the left eye. If you aim with both eyes center your head behind the contact points. If you aim with your ear. Line your ear up to the contact points.
The problem I had with this at first was that I used to always have my head over the same spot of the cue so I would have to compensate. So until I got used to it I would overcut the object ball using this system.
When you do get used to this system you will be able to shoot the balls without even thinking. Just line up the points and shoot. This type of aiming gets rid of parallax aiming problem which causes problems because balls farther away seem smaller than the cue ball.
Let me know what you think.
