Cool Pool Lingo

The cue ball rolls off on a slow shot and he misses the object ball entirely -- "Would you like some butter with your table roll?"

There are several from McGoorty, such as: he misses a pretty easy run out, "A drunk Girl Scout could have run those if you held her up to the table."

From Danny D.: he rattles a power shot, "Shoot hard and sleep in the street."

You remind me, watching UJ Puckett on video. "I shot that shot like a girl." That wasn't enough though, "a pretty little girl."

My sometimes road partner was loud. "Get in there ball" he would yell. Or "souwiee" like he was calling a hog. When Bobby was in a place everybody knew he was in a place! He did find or make action though. Sometimes his noise didn't seem to have any relevance to the pool table but all his noise drew people to see what was going on.
