I've had a feeling for years that I had cues which were copies of some high end cue, I was thinking Joss West. A recent ebay auction showed me a Joss West cue selling at a very high price which is very similar in design compared to my decal cue set.

Real"
recently offered at ebay auction
price $8,490

The fakes are the finest work of the decalcomaniacs art.

It is a shame that manufacturers copy or nearly copy the designs of others. These cues are not something I set out to buy - they just tagged along as an afterthought when I bought a table.

To be honest, these decal cues have turned me away from any spear point cues. No matter the quality, I no longer enjoy the look of any cue with spear points in the forearm.

You can't go by ebay, especially with the stupid Joss West prices that started 2-3 yrs ago.....the cues there are typically way over-priced (45%) and
I am a fan of Bill Stroud.....his cues aren't any more valuable than Tim Scruggs or Tad Kohara cues are selling for today. And Bill made a great pool
cue but it wasn't a tinkers dam better than the cues Tim and Tad made......dunno why but Bill's cues are overpriced right now and that's why those
very same Josswest & Joss West cues remain unsold on ebay for months and months....heck, sometimes more than a year with seller re-listings of
the same cues. I have owned and subsequently sold 4 cues made by Bill Stroud since 2009.
