Corey Duel New 8-ball break

I don't remember the match, but there was a very clear, well-filmed example of it....in a one-pocket match. In the after-match interview he said it was his 8-ball break and it nearly always made a ball in the corner pocket. Problem was that it made a ball in his opponent's pocket; he lost the game in pretty short order.

Watch his bar box break here. 2nd ball break...then cue ball goes off the rail & into the cluster, breaking it apart more.

It might be new for Corey but not new in pool. That break (or maybe the 3rd ball) is common on BB and usually makes the 8 ball in the side pocket opposite the breaker. If indeed you are referring to the break other have mentioned here is I think the best view of it that I know of

2nd ball break with a pattern rack
Yeah, old stuff. Can be found in a number of books. What Corey did however, was to find a pattern rack where all his opponents balls were clustered and his balls were spread nicely. At least, I think the pattern rack was Corey's invention.
