counters on a GC

I would like to refurbish thecounters onmy GC (not sure if it's a 3 or 4)
Do i have to remove the rail to get them off or do they pop out from the top. Thanks

Yes... the rail needs to be removed. There are four prongs on the bottom side of the counter. Pry gently on them to work the counter out. The counter will come out the top of rail. This will work for GC3 and GC4. The 1 & 2's is a different story.
