I just received a new cue that has Ivory ferrules.
I let someone try it and they broke with it on a 9 Ball rack.
Now it seems I've been told that it has a cracked Ferrule.
It just seems to be a very light line starting about the middle of the Ferrule going downwards towards the joint.
I really can't see what I would perceive as a crack, but I'm no expert.
It appears like a very, very lite blue line. I attribute the blue to burnishing my shaft with a piece leather and getting chalk on the ferrule.
My question is I guess is can I keep playing with it until it get worse without damaging the shaft ?
Thanks, Tommyd1
