CTE aiming SOP for a 15 degree left cut.

If it's a 15-degree cut, the final shot line (after the sweep) will have the cue tip pointed through the center of the CB at approximately the right quarter of the object ball. So I think you might want to change the second-to-last sentence under the third picture (it says the cue tip is pointed at the RCBE).

The set-up is a15 degree perception shot.

Evidently so, but he said it was a 15-degree cut. Since it is actually a 30-degree cut, the final shot line would, of course, have the cue tip pointed through the center of the CB at right edge of the object ball (assuming the shot involves no english). I see he has edited post #1 to indicate that.

But I should have recognized his mistake as a simple typo, because the table diagram in post #1 does show a shot that looks to be about 30 degrees.

Yes, My comment was a clarification.

30 also cuts it to the corner.

Cross corner is. 15

2 rails cross corner is 15

3 in the side is 15
