Cue Ball for Valley Tables

I am tired of going to places that have a Valley table that have the mini rock (steel caged) cue ball or a cue ball that came out of someone's butt hole. What is the best playing cue ball that will return on a Valley table. I do not see the original Valley cue balls available anymore.

The best playing cue ball is the Aramith purple label. It is the same size and weight as the numbered balls. And it comes back when you scratch. After this your next problem will be the numbered balls. Dirty, chipped, odd sizes ....

They no longer list the purple logo balls on their site. Only two are the magnetic and the Tournament magnetic with the green logo. Purple's are still around for sale but A'mith hasn't listed them for some time. No clue why. I've played both and couldn't tell them apart. Purple is said to be made from Duramith resin so it might stay clean a lil longer but that's about it. Most of the places around my area with Valley's all use the green logo and it plays/rolls fine.

A friend tried both Pooldawg and Seyberts and both said they haven't had them in a while and no news on when they might re-up. Its possible Aramith just started using the Duramith in the green and ditched the other logo color. Just a wag on my part. You can find them on-line but i don't know if they're real or knock-offs.
