Cue extension install ?

Fellas I just opened a new shop after being out of the business for eleven years, so the extension installs are brand new to me. I'm gonna start with my own equipment first before a customers. My personal playing cue is a Mike Gulyassy built for me in 2001. Any heads up advice for the extension kit install? on any cue for that matter. Thanx in advance

Most extensions start with a bumper/pin combo to replace the bumper in the cue currently. Determine what setup you have back there and start with the proper hardware. Other than that it's pretty basic.

It dosent seem to be that simple with a 2001 built Gulyassy. Gonna call Mike tmrw.

I've only made a couple so far and it depends on the player/owner I think. I have removed the weight bolt all together for one that likes to keep his extension on all the time. Then I've shortened the weight bolt to make up for the difference between the original bumper and the new extension receiver/bumper kit to keep the cue as close to it's current weight and make room for the conversion to thread in.
