I have a friend that would like me to try and install one of those built in extensions in a cheap Cue. I may give it a try, but not sure where to start.
My research shows a company named deroo may sell the hardware for the extension or a Bill Phillips.
Is there a diagram anywhere that shows how one is done? I do tips, ferrules, etc., and I have a machining background but I've never attempted anything like this. For those of you that have done this, do you think that this is something that can be done within reason, or am I looking at a possible train wreck?
Just for the record, I would be using a cheap Cue, just in case I screw it up. Also, this would probably be a one time thing just to help a friend out.
Any info would be appreciated.
