Cue holder help

[Still want to shoot]

Anyone mind giving some suggestions?
Been shopping around for a cue holder to work at this pool hall.
Picture attached. There is a lip there but then a rounded edge. and it goes down pretty far. so I am having trouble figuring out what to order that will function here.

Oh, maybe underneath? i'll have to see if theres any trim next time i'm at the pool hall. not sure if theres anything under that long board.

You can buy the weighted cue holders off Amazon. They can sit prettywell on most surfaces. I've had one for almost 30 years and recently bought 2 off Amazon.

Q-claw has worked for me for many years.

You can try the Predator or Tiger Cue holder they are weighted. I prefer something with a little weight to it.

cue claw - Google Search

i've used mine on square tables w/wo lip, round wire-spool tables, you name it. it just works. nice and heavy, stays put.

Q claw will work and use coasters or something else to offset that lip.

Rounded edges on a table doesn't really affect how a Q claw functions.

I thought that was too light and the rubber was really easy to bend

There is some flex to it but not a lot. I don't know exact numbers, but it's about the same weight as a 2 cue Q-claw in my opinion. I can weigh them later if someone wants exact numbers.

It may just be my experience but it has worked well on many different surfaces for me.

How wide is it? Joe Porper makes a clamp version cue holder in different models that can hold up to 6 cues.

Weight reduction is cue here. Fully loaded cases can get quite heavy. Q claw is a very heavy item.

Makes sense to ask around what other people use there.
I assume the claw versions people suggested are weighted? or will catch on that small edge? otherwise i don't see how it would stay when cue is placed against it.

Until you get a holder, lay your case on the counter/bar/table diagonally, overhanging a bit. Stand your cue in the crotch.

Nobody will complain. At least nobody in that picture.

They work just fine,weighted so it won't move.and the front has a straight edge. that's why they will work just about anywhere.
