Cue ID?? Anyone know?

This is my Fathers cue he bought about 30+ years ago. He remembers the pool hall he purchased from selling Palmer cues along with others. There are no visible markings on it. I do not have cue on hand so I am not sure if thread is 5/16- 18 or 5/16-14?

this is an adams a/h-23 "sahara"

blue book of cues 3rd edition says it is worth anywhere from 170-365 depending on its condition.
