cue ID help please.

this thing plays GREAT!!! just picked this up. it is about 35 years old i was told. it has a macarta (???) joint and ferrule. 5/6 x 18 (???) pin.

4-points, 4-veneers. W-with wings. (see pics) boxes with diamoned on butt sleeve.


any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

(Cue is not for sale... yet.) :wink:

any who here are pics. any info would be great.

Another Robert Weir (sp?) cue... by Helmstetter / Adam... I am sure if you do a site search, you'll find more info...

Bob Weir cue made by Adam/Helmstetter. Here is info off the blue book website:

""Bob Weir" cues were a private label Adam production cue made for a Texan by that name whose only brush with cuemaking was designing the "flying W" logo embossed on the cues. According to Richard, they were made for three to four years in the 1980s; fewer than 1000 cues were imported from Japan to Texas"
