Cue ID/Need Help--Abear?

I took a chance on this cue and bought it off of ebay. It is thick and heavy and not perfectly straight. I did have it refinished. I have been told by several people that it is most likely an Abear or a Jerico. Mr. Powers from Jerico responded to my e-mail with pics and stated it was not his work. I have had several people swear this is from Steve Hebert and since Mr. Hebert did live in the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area they could be right.........
Anyone have opinions??? Let me know what you think.
Thank you for your time!
John

I also think the cue is an Abear.
The rubber bumper & butt cap are similar dimensionally to my Abear cue dated 6-91
