In your experience, which cue companies make piloted jointed cues that completely seat to make a true compression joint?

I've heard that most cue companies make their pilots "float" inside the sleeve instead of actually making a true compression fit.

Thanks for your time.

What you seem to be describing would be a poor engineering design.

If you have two parallel faces, making both of them touch equally is impossible. One of the faces will touch first and parts will have to deform to make the other face touch.

If you are talking about compressing the diameter, this is also a poor design as it will change due to wear over time.
