There was an article in "Fine Woodworking" magazine in 1989, if I remember correctly where a man described, with pictures, of a cue he built using a wood lathe. I don't know if it was totally accurate or not as he stated that he used Delrin for the joint, the butt cap and the ferrule.

I have a copy of It too, but It's packed away in boxes somewhere. I didn't realize that was Dennis. Huh, Good piece of trivia, Makes me want to try and locate what I did with It, and dig that issue up.

BTW Often times that issue can be found on ebay for sale.

Greg [Cue Crazy]. Here a hint from the article - [I started playing pool in 1958. By 1965, after three years with Uncle Sam, I was hot stuff. I made my first cue stick in 1970.] page #66, 2nd column.

Just look at my signature to quess where I got my information!

Hi Bob,
I can believe It to be true, no questions there, just found It interesting, as It's the first time I can remember hearing It mentioned, and something I was not currently aware of. It makes since after hearing this though, and from what I remember of the article, that certainly could have been Him. Like I mentioned before, good piece of trivia, Thanks for sharing.
