Why??????????

1...wants to turn a cue for under $100
2...wants to start a business
3...maybe bender missed something that needs improvement
4...if they can do it why can't he

:):):)

What the heck, we need more cue assemblers. lol
There are already 3 in my local pool hall.
They buy Prather components, glue them and spray then sign their name.

I know a few of those, but wouldn't it make more sense to sign their name, then spray? They must not be very bright...

Thanks,

Then maybe they'll put their own American CueAssemblers Association :D

Well just to clear things up. I have no plans on becoming a fly by night cue assembler. All I wanted to do was experiment on a few asspects of a cue for my self, never planned on selling anything to anybody or claiming to be a cue maker only a home shop craftsman, trust me guys I work with wood for 10hours a day at work I sure as hell dont want to do it all that much in my spare time. Thanks for all the responses

What for???????????
If you build cues, build them complete yourself. Using others, PARTS, your depending on parts that some guy has glued together. Might of got some leg that morning, might not. His attitude for your cues?????
Build your own stuff..Just what we need is another parts builder, like American Choppers.

Umm not to get picky here but why the hell are people on my ass for asking this question? sorry if I did something wrong by trying to experiment with some pre made parts. Hell Why dont we just get Mike to close this one down. It sure is nice to ask a question and then get shit on or made fun of , even when people ont even know why you asked

Thanks guys its been fun

Hey Loco,
Don't get discouraged. There is nothing wrong with wanting to put together a cue for yourself, or a friend, or whoever. The only sure way to keep from learning new things is to be afraid to try.

The cuemakers who criticized or made fun of you here also had to start out somewhere. The companies who sell components must have a market, or they wouldn't be in business.

Just ignore the snide remarks and do what YOU want to do.
