Replacing a 5/16-14 ss joint with white Juma to reduce the butt weight by 1/2 to 3/4 an ounce off a Dufferin Conversation that has no weight bolt.

Extend the black collar below the SS collar to match up with my other stock predator shafts. No silver ring. Like a joss collar.

Remove the linen wrap by taking down the diameter of a butt and then doing a full refinish of the butt only. Basically removing the cut out of the wrap, smoothing it out and refinishing it without the wrap. I'm fine with losing some diameter of the butt, since I had a hand injury and lost my index finger and top of my thumb where my grip size has reduced.

The wrap handle wood may not be the same wood as the rest of the cue. Typically it is maple but not a nice looking piece.

With all of those changes, you might be money ahead getting into a cue that is what you want.

I agree. Build a new custom. I would say the mods you're looking at are close to $250-$300
