hey zim......just wanted to let you know after all the great talking you have done on the cues built by dominiak,i have had the priveledge to come across one of the top end ones with the contrasting inlay in the forearm and the handle type cue you have one on your site, dont know the model number but it is supposedly the top of the line for him.....i got this one just refinished with the new dominator and 2 other original shafts ........and i must say they are super playing cues......i wasnt real impressed until i hit balls with .....cant believe he doesnt have a bigger following.........really sweet......im still a hardcore dayton fan and am waiting on my cue from him as we speak......it will be a martin style cue with ivory ferrules, joint and butt cap and will also have ivory j/ps........will more than likely keep the dominiak as a back up cue if the need arises.......take care and i hope all is going well with you ......juston

Purdman- Thanks my friend! Things are going well for me and the cue repair. I'm in the process of building a portable table/workbench so I can set up shop at tournaments. I've been pretty busy mending house cues of 3 local pool rooms, that takes plenty of my time. I've finished converting a house cue into a 2 piece cue and have 1 more "sneaky z" (guys at work named my Sneaky Pete's to Sneaky Z's) and a 4 pointed purple heart cue that I'm working on and hope to have complete in a couple of weeks. It's the holiday season and I've just been so busy, and tending to my family and 3 1/2 month old!!!

Juston- Dominiaks are good cues! I've been telling people that, but until you've played with one, you just don't understand! I'm not sure which model you have, send a photo! Aaron Dominiak, Bill's son, is pretty much taking over the cue building department and has great plans for their cue line. He's only 24 and does a fantastic job. I designed a cue and sent him a coupld of photos. He plans to put this cue design into production in 2005! I believe this will be their top of the line cue model. Best of luck!

I've had about 9 inquiries about the Dominiaks, 2 for the DZ.
FYI: The tips are all Moori, the shafts are all Dominator shafts. The SW16 is called that because of the 8 piece radial butt and 8 piece radial shaft, hince the "16"!

I'm pretty flexible on the prices, so for those of you that are interested, but the price is a little more than you care to spend...make an offer!

Thanks,
Zim

The Dominiak SW16 is SOLD!
I have an offer (non AZBer) for the Dominiak 1017 of $325, but am looking for a little more than that. If someone offers $375, it's there's!

Forearm and butt sleeve are ebony with snakewood inlays, the handle is cored snakewood with ebony inlays, natural phenolic joint and butt cap with a Dominator shaft. I have photos at home, but they are not too clear. It's a beautiful looking cue and is balanced very well. I shoot with a 1009 with ebony and curly maple. (photos at www.zimsrack.com under "zims rack", "cue collection".

Thanks,
Zim

Dominiak SW 16

I bought the SW 16 from Zim and I love it. I may end up buying another Dominiak at some point since this one is very plain, but it plays great. One of the top players in the Seattle area hit some balls with it and could not believe how good the hit was. Thanks Zim.

Glad you like it Tony! When you're ready for a 2nd Dominiak, let me know and I'll get a good price for you.
Keep in touch!

Zim
