Cue shafts

I just purchased my third cue and would like a shaft for it that was similar to my last...but I want to keep the original as is. Is it cheaper to purchase a "production" shaft or have one made to my specs by a cue builder?? Just not sure of the cost associated with each option.

thanks
Jason

I'm no cue maker, but depending on yor specs. it may be cheaper to just get a custom. If you get a production shaft then have it resized you'll have to pay for both. Ithink customs run from around 80 or 90 dollars to 300 plus. Just depends on who makes it,ring work ferrule and tip

Go to your nearest neighborhood cue maker and tell him what you want. He'll fix you up with the right stuff in no time. It'll be good for you, good for him, and good for pool.
