This LD shaft is made in Germany and they say it is the best in the world !!!
Anybody who can tell me something about this shaft , played with it or has it ?
This is probably a question for all the German Azers here and there are a few on AZ so please some feedback .

Next week i'll be testing the SS360 from Bob Danielson , i'm still on a quest to find the right LD shaft .

Thanks ,

Christoph

Hi Christoph, you better ask this on the german forum Billiard Aktuell....

i tested the "normal", so not the AAA shaft. it shoots great, stiff hit (i tried it on a cuechanger purpleheart cue). but due to the taper (its a mix taper) it has slightly more deflection than a Z2 (which you are used to i think).

i didnt try the AAA shaft, but im sure dave already contacted marcus (designer of the shaft) for some info.

when i purchase a new cue in the next years it will be one of them, great performing cue.

Hello,

shafts from Markus personal stock are usually always *great quality*. Stiff, low deflection (very low in my opinion- of course not like a z²).

I personally can recommend Markus as an amazing knowledged guy and a furthermore a super guy to deal with. He works with several cuemakers- he knows how to satisfy his customers.

lg from germany,

Ingo

For the record, we (as in Markus and I) never stated these shafts are the
best in the world. They are the best shafts we can currently produce.

We have had hundreds and hundreds of expensive shaft dowels from good suppliers go thru our
hands and only a handful (maybe one in twenty) are set aside for these shafts.

I was very happy to finally be able to get my hands on some MasonH micarta and
we will only be using it on these AAA shafts, combined with any high quality tip you like.

We do not use hard tips on these because the shafts are already very stiff hitting and
a hard tip would in our opinion push it over the edge of what is acceptable.

gr. Dave (Markus no longer posts here)
