I thought I remembered seeing a thread about this some time ago, but I can't seem to locate it via the search features here in the forums. I have a buddy who wants me to make a custom cue for his grandson who is still relativley young. I thought I remember someone mentioning they had done the same thing for a young child, then as the child grew older, the made longer shafts for the butt. I was wondering what type of specs the original cue was built to: length, thickness (standard or thinner?), etc. I would imagine a nice soft Elkmaster would be the best to minimize miscues for a youngster? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
