Cuetec Avid vs Cuetec TrueWood II butt comparison

I'm buying a new playing cue in the upcoming weeks. I decided on the Cuetec Cynergy 12.5 shaft, but I'm not sure about the butt. I love the look of TrueWood II, but it is almost 5 times (!) as expensive as the Avid (just butt price). It has the same joint, both are extension ready, both have the weight changing system. Is TrueWood II worth extra 400€? I'm interested in how it plays and overall quality. Did any of you have a chance to compare TrueWood II with Avid side by side? What are your thoughts?

just get the svb 1st gen it comes with the 12.5 or 11.8 cynergy
on amazon for 605 new
I live in Europe and I could not find 1st gen SVB that isn’t shipped from US. Other than that I'd like to be able to use Cuetec Duo Extensions, I currently play with extension full time and being able to stack them would be great.

Why not repost this in the main forum? It may get more replies there. Your post is not a review but is rather a request for a review.

When butts such as the two you describe share so many specifications, I would not think there would be any performance hit.

Butts do not matter much except for their looks and those two look a lot different.

Given your location, it might be prudent to buy whatever you have the easiest domestic access to.
