Looking for a source for one (1) or two (2) Cuetec brass inserts....I think they are 3/8-14!?

Howdy,
I'm afraid that what you are looking for doesn't exist.
To the best of my knowledge CueTec doesn't use a brass
insert, on any of their models. The threads are cut into an
ABS type plastic. When building a Predator shaft for a Cue-
Tec I'll fab. an insert from blk. phenolic.
While you're close at 3/8 x 14, it's actually closer to 9mm
x 14 (.356 / .360). If you were to use a 3/8 x 14 tap, the
screw-up fit would be far too sloppy. So rather than spend
$240 for a custom tap, spend $6 on a 3/8 x 14 tap & have
a tool grinder knock the the major dia. down to .360.

Hey there KJ, thanks for that piece of info.....a friend of mine wants me to make him a custom shaft for his Cuetec. Not sure how many folks will want a custom shaft for a Cuetec
