cuetec breach taom tip issues

I just bought a breach. Generally I really like cuetec products. The breach seems to leave the worst white burn marks I’ve ever seen, I’ve immediately stopped using it outside of my own table. Has anyone else had same experience? It’s literally so bad as to be completely unusable, I’m currently just incredulous…
I am having the same problem. Worst white marks on the cloth i have ever seen. Tip is garbage.

Any idea why parts of the tip would come off like that?

What I heard from a user was the tip would flatten faster than other break tips he tried

It appears that the friction of the tip on the cloth results in a temperature that the tip was not designed to withstand. Most tips just leave track marks on the cloth instead of "melting/burning" and leaving some of themselves on/in the cloth. I've seen slight deformation of other non-leather tips used for breaking but have not seen one do what I've seen Taom tips do. I do like the tips otherwise.

Thanks for the information.

Thank you for the responses. Yes, I could just change the tip, but again, I can’t believe this is their stance or that a $600 break cue should come standard with a tip that causes damage I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy’s table. It’s not a slight mark or such, I own maybe 10 cues, 5 breaks and jumps and have played quite a bit of pool over a long time of years. I’m not implying I’m any kind of expert, just that I’m not a novice either, I’ve played for the better part of 30 years and am mid 600s Fargo whatever. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen. I gotta figure out how to take a picture in a format I can post. It’s the visual equivalent of if I took a white piece of chalk and just started making swipe marks.
I have had to change several of the taom break tips for customers who bought the breach. I usually put a samsara break/jump tip and they love it!
