Cuetec Cues - Avid series - Any Thoughts

Hello ,
I read a ad for this cue , and about Florian being the reason it was made I assume. They say it is Cuetec's state of the art low deflection series cue and the price is not bad at all . I seen were someone said that the shaft reminds them of CF , don't know never played with one. I know alot of people are not fond of Cuetec , But I hear these cues are a step above the previous releases . Has anyone played with one and do you like it or is it all hype.
 
Never used a Cuetec cue until a friend of mine bought a Predator cue with a revo CF shaft.
hits some balls with it a thought, man, I have got to have one of these. Asked my friend, how much did this cost you, he said $1800. So mush for that, I'm not spending that kind of money for a cue.
So, did some research and decided to purchase this cue. Did not pay the advertised price, only paid $585. This cue is amazing and I really like it.

This is not a bad shaft at all. I like the straight (Conical) taper on it, it has a very tight hit. I replace the Everest width a pressed Elkmaster (not a milkdud) , and the ball control is good for me and my game (About a med KAmui Clear).
