i will be gettting a new cuetec jump and break cue for xmas this year i have never owned one of those but the reason why i like these is because the one i will be getting has a quick realease which i like that feature because that will allow me to use the jump cue section and i think thats why they are called jump meaning to shoot over another ball and to break means to bust up a set of balls on the table

Enjoy your new cue. Be careful practicing jump shots, you may want to start by using a spare piece of cloth so that you don't get excessive burn marks or even damage to your table cloth. Generally, I think dedicated break cues tend to perform better than multi use cues, but any cue that you use to break other than your player will extend the life of your tip on your main cue. I like soft to medium tips, so breaking with my player is not a good thing.
