I know the pin size is 3/8 x 14, will any tap with that pitch work or is their one specific for Cuetec?
I just looked at Durbin's website and considering the cues he's produced I'm very surprised he can't make threads without a tap.I am looking for a tap so can use my duo extension on my Durbin custom cue. I contacted Durbin and he does not have the tap needed. He is currently working on a new cue for me and I would like to use this extension since I own one.
There are several systems for extensions out there, all of them better than the cuetec system with that silly long pin. Why not just change the screw in the extensions them selves or have him build you a set from scratch? That way you don't have to fuss with a odd size bumper and just use industry standard 1/2-13 or 3/8-16I am looking for a tap so can use my duo extension on my Durbin custom cue. Look like you need rubber bumper to use Cuetec extension on your Durbin. Let ask Durbin do 1/2x13 weight bolt system, I could make it happens with rubber bumper.I know the pin size is 3/8 x 14, will any tap with that pitch work or is their one specific for Cuetec?
