I didn't want to start a beating thread.... just don't read the 'ask the cuemaker' section and saw it on Roys site and wanted to find out... i checked the Main Forum and didn't see it there so where else would i ask but in the cuejunkiee section where i hang out buyin and sellin--- heck someone here must know... thanks for the info and glad Bill is fine... as we all should...
Roy I think was just being blunt and as he said doesn't read the AZ forums... I know he's freinds with alot of legends like Schick, Bender, Espiritu and others and spends time at their places, vacationing with them etc... as far as beating on Roy i think some are outta line. He was just passing along he knows Bill is alright and doesn't even know what was said on AZ. Obviously he must have had a bunch of calls concerning Bill, whom he considers a freind....I called Roy one day looking for a SW and he was nothing but great to me... I never spoke or emailed the guy before... he returned my calls everytime as i pestered him asking about a SW. Sure he has some nice stuff that's hard to get sometimes and demands prices, but hey- if you want it bad enough you'll pay... the amount of cues he moves is proof... I bought a SW from him with a flawless transaction... Heck, couple times him and i just chatted on the phone about his upcoming visit to Alaska to see Bender, or is fishing trip to FL to see Russ.... he was always a pleasure to chat with. I had good dealing and would recommend him if you're looking for what he's got and you want it... looking for a bargain- see Fleabay. I am not saying all of you had a great dealing with Roy or even like the guy but some poking fun at what happened to him is just pushing it a bit... When he got back to his shop a little after his robbery, i talked to him on the phone at length on what had happened. IT WAS HORRIFIC and should not be wished upon any human... < he sent me pictures> like him or hate him, he's a human being. And he's lucky to be alive right now... and his love of cues has brought him back even though after what had happened would chase some away i think...
I don't want to drag this thread out now that i know what i came for, BUT I just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening....

I always get the answers i'm looking for here and appreciate all the knowledge..
