Cushion alignment tips

Anyone willing to give a tip or two on how they get their cushions perfectly straight when the replace them? I am in the process of replacing my Velocity Pro with 860 along with cushions that were dead.

I have never used Scotchgrip 10 and not sure how forgiving it is.
