Custom Cue maker/ers in Thailand - Bangkok

Hey fellows AZers!

I was searching all over the internet for custom pool cue makers in Bangkok and found only this - Karella Cues, but cant find if they still making it here.
I moved to live in Bangkok more than a year ago and started to play pool daily. After seeing all these amazing cues you guys buying from custom cue makers in USA and Europe I am thinking to get one too :) just to import anything to Thailand is very hard and you will be force to pay 400% tax ( its crazy I know )...
So if anyone know and can suggest me a cue maker in Bangkok I would appreciate it !
 
from my understanding of the billiards scene there, snooker is more popular than pool.

there are many snooker cue makers located in Bangkok though.

perhaps you can get one of them to make you a cue for pool.
 
I was thinking about that but if the guy is specializing in snooker cues so pay him big money for a cue he is not specialist in building would make my waiting nightmare...

If Karella Cues are still being made, they were being produced in Thailand. But, they were produced (contract manufactured, I suppose) for Competition Sports.

Karella Cues have an interesting history, most of which has been completely botched with falsehoods in its retelling on this site.

they use beautiful woods on the custom snooker cues actually and they are not too expensive to try.

if you like low deflection shafts, you might like what they can build actually.

quite a number of the low deflection shafts are built very similar to the snooker cue taper actually.

your cue in your signature is quite a good cue.

I will be visiting Bangkok this weekend.
Perhaps we can meet up for a game or 2.in one of the pool halls in Sukhumvit. :)

Yeah the cue is really good for the price and I like how it plays, but in near future I want to build myself a custom one that would look exactly that I want ( old school bushka etc. ) and will use my shaft that I am use to play.

For you visit if I will be in city I would love to meet up and have few games :)

Also if you want to have nice game go visit Hustlers or Sports Academy, good time guarantee. Hustlers have a lot of good Philippine players so you can try your skill with them :)
 
go to ball in hand club on sukhumvit, they all have cues for sale there. you should find what you are looking for there.
 
Hustlers and Sprostman have very small shop I already checked it as I play there.
If you want to buy cue you need to go to soi 13 and the owner of bar Breakers owns best pool shop in Bangkok!

I am going to see him to ask about cue makers in Bangkok, but thought maybe people already know some and can advice :)
