Custom cue with REVO

I'm looking to purchase a custom cue that could use my Revo shaft on.. I'm considering a custom cue butt that can accommodate an extension. While I understand that the Revo shaft has a stiff feel, I've heard that custom cue butts pair well with it. Maybe not idk.. I recognize that the feel may vary between cue makers. Do you have any suggestions?

CF shafts seem to work good on everything from sneakies to fancy customs. Choice of butt is going to be mostly for looks imo. The shaft will feel a lil different on each butt but how it actually plays in a game set-up won't be much diff. If going custom i'm big on PKCustomCues(Cody Cash) out of Wichita. He's on FB. Great cues, great cat to deal with.

I recently had a custom butt made for me by Ryan Theewen. Used to be Rat cues. Whatever you do DO NOT have him make you anything. Paid $800 for this exquisite butt I thought I was going to get and what a piece of garbage. I wouldn't have paid him 300 if I would have known the workmanship and attention to detail was so bad.

Sorry to hear that. Had a similar experience with Jim Lee years ago. I had him make a cue for my dad, under the stipulation he could get it done in 4months. 6 months later, he hasn't started it and my dad had passed away, and I was personally in poor health and had to quit playing aswell. I requested a refund, and he not only said no, but said the price was now 70% more than the initial quote, and I could buy the cue at the new price or forfeit the $500 deposit. One guy I wish I never dealt with.
