I am looking for custom joint protectors for Uni-lock joints, i have seen some nice jp's around $25-$45 but no one seems to offer them in uni-lock.
So i figured if anyone would know this forum would !
A while back there was a link to jointprotectors.net or .com but that does not seem to work anymore.
So i would appreciate any links you might have.

Custom JPs

I have a very nice set of custom JPs for my PFD with a uni-loc joint made by Steve Kornele. He can be found at www.kornelepoolcues.com. My 3 piece set made to match my cue including ivory inlays were $125, but he has far simpler JPs in the $60 range. His website has many examples of his work, and he did a very good job matching my cue. My only recommendation if you go with him would be to use a set of calipers to measure the diameter of the joint. Mine were just a little oversized.

Thank you, $125 is little high but it looks like hes got some nice simpler ( and more affordable) ones.

check out my "Cue Collection" on www.zimsrack.com. All the joint protectors are custom made to match my cues. www.jointprotectors.net no longer exists, but they still make joint protectors. Chad builds cues now! Send me photos and we can discuss prices. You can see some of Chad's cues (CAM cues) on my site as well.

Good luck,
Zim

I second Steve Kornele's joint protectors, ordered 3 pairs from him in the last year and they were excellently crafted and he's a stand up guy to boot.

Kornele JPs

The cost of my JPs was primarily due to the Ivory I had put in them. They are basically 4 windows of tulipwood in ebony with ivory diamonds in the windows. Without the ivory they are just like some of his standard window JPs.
