what are the best cutting tools to use for trimming down ferrules and tips on a cue lathe??? where can you get them at?? Any help is greatly appreciated..thanks

They can be sometimes hard to buy locally. They also come in different sizes, 1/4, 3/8, and so on. Some may disagree and that is fine but I like HHS for wood and ferrules & tips . I like to grind my own cutters and HHS you can put a razor sharp edge on. Sometimes just the right grind can make all the difference in doing a job. There are only so many off the shelf cutters you can get.
