Beloved got me a set of Ares as an upgrade to my Vintage Centennials back in September.
Really liked them at first. Perfectly matched weight, nice colors, easy to clean.
As I mostly play 14.1 and OnePocket, these should have been a long lived set of balls.
Sadly, with less than 50 hours playing them, they are showing chips and lots of scuffing.
I contacted Diamond and they told me that "No one else has ever had this problem" and that it was due to "plastic pockets.
My Centennials, which have a lot of play on the same tables, show none of these issues.
Not a great response from Diamond and not much of a product from Cyclop.
