My father purchased this cue brand new in 1984 when he played in the bar-box leagues. When he stopped playing in the early 90s, he put the cue in the case and packed it away on a shelf in his closet where it's been sitting ever since. All original with one shaft. It has some minor cosmetic bumps and bruises, but it's in great shape. No warping.

I looked it up on the McDermott website in the "Retired cues" section. In 1984 it sold for $230 and has appreciated 189% to $665.

Make me an offer!

what does it weigh? Diameter of the shaft? What type of wrap? Your bottom dollar?

McDermott D14 Weight, shaft diameter, and wrap...

Weight is 19oz.
Shaft diameter is 13mm.
Wrap is solid black Irish linen.

Bottom dollar: Well, quite frankly I don't know the market value on cues these days, so I'm not certain what my bottom dollar is. The McDermott site says $665. Now, is that price based on a vintage cue in perfect condition? I don't know. The cue I'm selling isn't perfect, but it's in great shape. The finish is still good, with a couple minor scuffs, it's straight, and hits solid.

I'm just going to say $600 or best offer for starters, and I'll consider all offers.

Take care, and may you never miss a ball.
