I had to post my experience with Mr. Gracio thus far. And I must say, after all the research I have done, all of the posts on this freakin guy, all of the words used to describe this "Guarantee for a lifetime" holder.......He has absolutely made a statement to me.

Scott Gracio is AWESOME!!!

Here is the story:
I started off with a simple design, drew it on a piece of paper, took a picture of it, and sent it to him via email. I colored it in with colored pencil, we laughed about it (alot), and moved on. He gave me a price, I sent payment, in full, upon his acceptance to building the cue, which was not required but I wanted it out of my hands before it got spent on something else.

Now, here we are a couple of months later, and the design has morphed, completely!!! Scott has been nothing but accommodating, pleasant to talk with, fun to joke around with, and replies to emails both timely and effectively. He has answered all questions that I have had, put up with a bunch of nonsense ideas from me, shot me down in the right places and added his experienced knowledge in areas that never crossed my mind. By the end of every phone call, I got more and more excited about what this cue is turning into. The guy just rocks.

I will dig up the pictures and progress and post them in the Cue Gallery forum when the time is right, but wanted to use this forum to address the every once in a while threads on "Who to choose cue makers".

Now, all I hope is that Scott starts to become a little harder to work with so I stop thinking about sending him more money to make matching Joint Protectors or do something else extravagant to the cue he is making. The guy just sucks money out of you by being himself. It just plain isn't fair .

So for all of those that have seen Scott's work on AZB, whether it be in the For Sale Forum, Cue Gallery, wherever, try to get your hands on his work. The stocks on Gracio's will indeed rise, if not only for customer service. I can't wait to see what he comes up with for my cue. If you are in the market to getting a custom made, and haven't made up your mind, call Scott.

Disclaimer: I am not getting anything for free, or in return, and wasn't asked to post this by Scott or any affiliate of his. This is a just a small token of appreciation to a cue maker that not only stands by his work with his guarantee, but is able to communicate in a way that portrays excitement to the future owner. All cue builds should be experienced this way, and I hope that in the future, if I decide to try another cue maker, this methodology of customer relations is duplicated.

I met Scott a couple of years ago at the APA Nationals and he seemed like a great guy and had some REALLY nice cues with him that he built.

+1 from me.
