I usually select players to use as a barometer, sort of, for judging how well
their 'class' is doing.
For an 'elite' pro: I selected Sourquet, and he did extremely well, winning all 4 matches, and had 10 B&R. He is a steady methodical player, always competitive, with a real good consistency rate.
For the 2 'newcomers': I selected Stevie Moore, because I had heard so much about his playing, and that he is a 'hot' player in recent months.
The other newcomer I selected was Brian Groce, mainly because I played Brian 10 years ago, and it gives me some kind of far fetched idea of how I might have fared if I had been in Vegas ... lol (I did beat him)
They all made it to round 2, but it will be a lot tougher.
