Every time I try and download a video I get the "no slots available" error....please help!!! What does this mean and how can I avoid it?

They can answer you better than I.
I will however tell you that this means the user you're trying to get that file from has all his alotted slots being used. If you just leave it in you're download queue, a slot will eventually open and the download will begin. You can't "avoid it" but you can go to your DL Q and right click on the file and "search for alternatives". That forum (above link) has all your answers and more.....
 
Yep. Crawdaddio is right. I might add that on every user on user list you can see how many slots the user offers. It's the figure after S: . Usually S:2, which means this particular user offers 2 slots for downloads. If you want to get your downloads starting faster, you could try choosing the users who have more slots available. But, often more slots mean less bandwidth and you'll get the file a lot slower.
